Amjad Fawzi Alfaleh

General Director of School Health and General Supervisor of Primary Health Care

Amjad Fawzi Alfaleh is a family medicine consultant and General Director of School Health at the Saudi Ministry of Health, where he is also General Supervisor of Primary Health Care. He leads ministry programmes aimed at school students, including the start-of-year screening programme for early detection of growth, vision, hearing and nutrition problems, and school health awareness campaigns that tie the physical education period to daily activity. At the summit he speaks on translating the Vision 2030 physical activity target into a talent pipeline through school and community programmes, and on using health and education data to track the journey from participation to podium.
