Dr. Majid AlShehry

International Center of AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE)

Dr. Majid AlShehry is acting General Manager of the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE) in Riyadh, a Category 2 center under the auspices of UNESCO established in 2023 to advance AI research and ethics globally through international cooperation. He oversees the center's capacity-building programs and readiness assessments, which have been applied in 78 countries, with a current focus on developing countries and Africa, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and UNESCO's recommendation on the ethics of AI.
