Lama Arabiat is an AI leader, strategic expert and consultant. She was the first Chief AI Officer of the Jordanian government, and from that role led the Kingdom's shift toward AI adoption and the building of its national AI ecosystem, including policy formulation and institutional capacity-building in the public sector, and is considered a reference voice in regional discussions of AI strategy. She has contributed to drafting regulatory frameworks for AI ethics and government capacity-building, and speaks regularly at regional and international forums on adopting the technology in the public sector.
