Raised in New Zealand, her early life immersed in nature shaped her lifelong commitment to conscious living and balance. With a background in global leadership across finance, diplomacy, and trade, she brings a strategic lens to the wellness industry. Karen is also an endurance athlete, with a passion for marathons and triathlons. Since founding Jayasom in 2014, she has focused on creating transformative wellness destinations, including its flagship at Amaala, on the Red Sea coast, blending ancient healing traditions with modern science to redefine sustainable, personalised wellbeing experiences.
