Acting Chief Executive Officer

Sanjiv joined the Saudia Group in May 2023 and is EVP - Strategies for the group. In this role, Strategy, Fleet Management, Transformation Office, and Sustainability come under his oversight, and he chairs the Group Network and Fleet Committees as well. As of April 2026, Sanjiv has taken on the additional responsibility of acting CEO, flyadeal, the second time he is in this role after serving as acting CEO during September – December 2023. Sanjiv has almost 30 years of experience in the airline and travel industry in Asia, Europe, and the US, and has held C-level positions at Vistara (Tata – Singapore Airlines), SpiceJet, and Jet Airways 2.0. He was also previously President of Oberoi Hotels & Resorts.
