Jim Demetriades is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Behavioral Signals, which specializes in behavioral intelligence and detecting deepfakes and AI-generated deceptive speech, and is founder and CEO of Kairos Ventures, a fund he established in 2015 that invests in more than 50 portfolio companies seeking to commercialize leading university research discoveries. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a dual bachelor's degree in economics and computer science, and has worked as an investor and entrepreneur in emerging technologies since 1985, having founded C-Beyond Technology in 1989 and grown it into the world's largest self-funded systems-integration software company.
