Alina Timofeeva is Managing Partner for artificial intelligence, data and digital transformation at Tamayouz Business Solutions in Riyadh, where she advises governments, regulators and global financial organisations on artificial intelligence, data and cloud transformation and on technology governance frameworks aligned with national digital economy programmes, working largely across the United Kingdom and Gulf corridor. Her career was built at global consultancies: she began at PwC before moving to Accenture UK, where she was promoted four times in four years, then to KPMG UK, and subsequently to Oliver Wyman as a principal in the digital and financial services practice advising global banks on artificial intelligence, data, cloud adoption and non-financial risk. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Moscow State University and an MSc in Risk and Finance from the London School of Economics, and completed a business analysis and valuation course at Harvard. She serves as a board member of BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT. Her recognitions include Most Inspirational Individual of the Year at the UK IT Industry Awards, Digital Leader of the Year at the Women in Tech Excellence Awards, and a TechWomen100 award in 2020. She is a commentator for outlets including the BBC and Bloomberg, and her TEDx talk was translated into 23 languages.
