Ahmed Albrahim

Chief Executive Officer

Ahmed bin Abdulkareem Albrahim is a Saudi aviation and tourism executive who has led commercial functions across airlines, national tourism bodies and global consumer businesses. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Air Connectivity Program with effect from May 2026, taking charge of the government programme established in 2021 to attract international carriers to the Kingdom, open new direct routes and expand the network of destinations served, in support of the National Aviation Strategy, the National Tourism Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030. Under his leadership the programme has continued to sign agreements with international airlines, among them a memorandum of understanding with the premium leisure carrier beOnd to explore direct services linking Red Sea International Airport with six European cities. Before taking up the role he served as Vice President of Aviation at the Saudi Tourism Authority, where he built airline partnerships and worked to grow inbound visitor flows to the Kingdom, and earlier held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at the low-cost carrier flyadeal, contributing to its commercial performance and network expansion. His earlier career was in commercial and category management with major global companies, including a period with Amazon. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
