Eng. Abdullah Humaidi Saleh Al-Salama is Chairman of the Board of the Restaurants & Cafes Owners Association (RCOA), a non-profit civil association licensed by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development. The association was founded to empower and represent the hospitality sector in Saudi Arabia and to support restaurant and café owners through targeted initiatives, active partnerships and unified representation before the relevant authorities, alongside programmes that build skills, share expertise and keep members abreast of developments in food and beverage. In his message as chairman, Al-Salama says the board works in a spirit of responsibility and partnership to support the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and develop the hospitality sector by empowering members, activating initiatives and building strategic partnerships with government and private entities, service providers and investors. He calls for closer integration between the public and private sectors and stronger governance and transparency, to support the sector's growth and competitiveness at home and abroad while preserving its national identity.
