Cranes & Heavy Lifting Conference 2027

About the event
The Cranes & Heavy Lifting Conference returns to the Eastern Province on 20 and 21 January 2027, gathering the Kingdom's crane, lifting and heavy-haul community in Dammam for its second edition. The programme lands as Saudi Arabia's upstream and downstream oil and gas expansion, port modernisation and mega-infrastructure builds continue to drive demand for advanced crane technology, high-capacity lifting solutions and stricter safety protocols.
Across two days, delegates hear from lifting engineers, HSE directors, equipment manufacturers and contractors on crane performance in extreme climatic conditions, modular lifting for petrochemical and gas facilities, precision logistics for port expansion, risk management in hazardous environments, and automation for predictive maintenance and operational efficiency. A dedicated technical workshop from the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) walks attendees through equipment lifecycle management, from legislation and planning to inspection and safe execution, alongside an international exhibition of lifting equipment and technology providers.
Attendance carries 14 CPD points for participants from government authorities, project owners, oil and gas companies, port operators, contractors and equipment manufacturers, with delegate and solution-provider passes available through online registration.
