Syed Mazhar

Director - HSSE Department

Syed Mazhar is Director of the HSSE Department at Albawani Group, a major Saudi construction and contracting group, and chairs the Kuwait chapter of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) community. He is a Chartered Fellow of IOSH (CFIOSH) with a track record moderating and speaking on safety-culture topics at regional lifting and construction-safety conferences. At the conference he moderates the panel discussion on fostering a proactive safety culture beyond compliance, drawing on his experience building behavioural safety programmes and incident-investigation practices across large contracting operations.
