Ryan Mitchell is Group Director of QHSEW (quality, health, safety, environment and wellbeing) at Farnek, the UAE-based facilities management company. He joined Farnek in 2019 as manager of worker welfare and quality and was promoted to Head of QHSEW in April 2023. At Expo 2020 his team looked after the wellbeing of the onsite workforce and won a Gold Card award at the Taqdeer Awards for worker welfare and HSE. Before Farnek he held senior health and safety positions on major projects in the United States, the Caribbean and Saudi Arabia, and his qualifications include an LLM, an MBA, PMP and CIWFM.
