Regional Manager - Middle East

Amro Hassan is the Middle East Regional Manager of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), the international trade body that sets competence and safety standards for the lifting industry worldwide. Before joining LEEA he spent more than seven years across drilling and workover service companies in the Gulf, starting as a field engineer before moving into safety advisory and internal instructor roles. In his current role he works with government entities, equipment owners and end-users across the region to raise compliance with international lifting codes. As conference chairperson he opens and closes both days of the programme and leads a dedicated LEEA workshop that walks delegates through the full lifecycle of lifting equipment, from legislation and planning to inspection and safe execution.
