Toshitaka Tanaka

Toshitaka Tanaka joined Toyobo in April 1994 as an engineer in the membrane materials department, and later moved into technical service for seawater desalination using cellulose triacetate hollow fibre reverse osmosis membranes. His primary interest has been developing and optimising the operation of hollow fibre reverse osmosis modules so that they produce high grade water from a system that is simple and easy to maintain. In 2024 he moved to the Middle East, bringing three decades of membrane materials and desalination service experience with him.
