Thomas Dauvillier
Senior Associate
Thomas Dauvillier is a senior associate at Jones Day in Paris, advising international clients on high-stakes arbitrations with a particular focus on disputes arising from major energy and infrastructure projects that involve complex engineering and financial liability. He operates under all the major arbitration rules, including those of the ICC, the LCIA, the SCC and UNCITRAL, handling disputes that turn on critical performance failure in process plants, desalination plants in particular, as well as construction defects in large-scale infrastructure. In the energy sector he has experience in major projects involving multibillion dollar disputes over long-term agreements, specifically on cost recovery, profit-sharing formulas and tax stability issues. He also represents clients in annulment proceedings before the Paris Court of Appeal and regularly sits as secretary to arbitral tribunals.
