Nuria Peña García gained her PhD in analytical chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid and has more than twenty years of experience in water treatment. Her work centres on the identification of fouling and on the behaviour of membranes, the field that governs how efficiently reverse osmosis plants run and how long their membrane elements last. She has published more than fifteen papers across analytical chemistry and water treatment. At H2O Innovation she works within the Genesys business line, which supplies desalination plants with specialty chemicals for membrane systems and with membrane testing services.
