Mary Kanavoutsos

Senior Vice President, International Strategy and Growth – Water

Mary Kanavoutsos leads international strategy and growth for the water business of AECOM, the global infrastructure consulting firm, across Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Europe and India, and the Middle East and Africa, working on market growth, client engagement and the strategic positioning of the water practice. She brings more than 30 years in the water sector, in technical, commercial, project delivery and business development roles, with her expertise in water treatment, desalination and water reuse, and she has led design, project development and delivery work on water projects in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East. Before joining AECOM she was executive market director for water in Australia and New Zealand at Jacobs. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering with honours in chemical engineering from the University of Melbourne and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
