Markus Lattner

Managing Director

Markus Lattner is Managing Director of Eurovent Middle East, based in Dubai. Eurovent Middle East is the regional arm of the European association of manufacturers of indoor climate, process cooling and food cold chain equipment, founded with more than fifteen manufacturers and member organisations active in the region. Its work is to represent the sector before regulators, align practice, and connect the regional market to European standards. His background is in communications, public relations and sales, a background the nature of trade associations explains: they do not sell a product but persuade governments and buyers of a standard. He works in a field that has grown more sensitive in the Gulf, because cooling consumes a large share of electricity, making equipment efficiency a matter of energy policy rather than technical specification.
