Jia Shin Ho

NPI Scientist

Jia Shin Ho is a new product initiative scientist at Gradiant, specialising in seawater desalination, membrane technologies and wastewater reuse, with extensive experience in carrying innovative water treatment solutions from research through to deployment. She holds a PhD from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where her research addressed membrane fouling monitoring and diagnostics and the optimisation of performance in pressure-driven membrane systems, carried out at the Singapore Membrane Technology Centre within the Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute. She has contributed to the development, piloting and scale-up of advanced reverse osmosis, high-recovery desalination and membrane-based water reuse technologies, and works at the interface of science, engineering and commercialisation, supporting technology validation and first-of-a-kind applications.
