Jane Hanna
Deputy Director, Entrepreneurship Center
Jane Hanna is deputy director of the Entrepreneurship Center at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where she leads entrepreneurship, innovation, partnership and ecosystem development initiatives across Egypt and the wider region. Over the past decade she has secured more than 20 million dollars in grant funding, built strategic international partnerships and supported over 150 startups. She holds a master's degree from the University of Edinburgh and a postgraduate diploma from the Euro-Mediterranean University. She is an Obama Foundation Leader, a Swedish Institute Impact Pioneer and a recipient of the United States Department of State's IVLP Impact Award. Her work focuses on entrepreneurship ecosystems, sustainable development, partnerships and access to finance.
