Abdulaziz Alaqel is Chief of Design and Development at Expo 2030 Riyadh, where he leads the masterplan and design realisation of the Expo site, overseeing conceptual and detailed design development and the integration of architecture, engineering systems and infrastructure frameworks. He brings more than 25 years of experience delivering complex, high-value developments across infrastructure, sport, hospitality and mixed-use real estate. At Qiddiya Investment Company he held senior strategic and development leadership roles spanning mobility, sports, esports, hospitality and real estate, leading master planning, concept development and business planning and overseeing landmark assets including large-scale esports arenas and a major motorsport park. As a projects director at Saudi Aramco he led the end-to-end design and delivery of infrastructure, mixed-use and residential mega projects.
