Iman Eldib
Research Assistant
Iman Eldib carries out master's-level research in environmental engineering at the Colorado School of Mines, working on energy efficiency and optimisation in reverse osmosis technologies and on sustainable water treatment. She holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Bahrain. In her undergraduate senior year she developed a machine-learning-based fault prediction and alarm system for an ultrafiltration membrane, improving productivity and minimising downtime; that project turned her attention to water treatment, which she went on to explore through professional experience at wastewater treatment plants. She brings three years of experience on desalination and industrial water treatment projects in Saudi Arabia together with two years of research at Mines.
