Idris Alshaya is group head of procurement and contracts at AlJasser Holding, a Saudi group whose companies include Arabian Oud, Oud Elite and the Tola perfume company alongside other retail and fragrance businesses, where he governs purchasing and contracting at group level. He previously worked as a senior contract specialist at NUPCO, the National Unified Procurement Company, the body that consolidates the purchase of medicines and medical supplies for the government health sector in the Kingdom. His experience therefore joins corporate procurement in the private sector with unified purchasing in healthcare.
