Amal Al Somali is director of the shared service centre of excellence at New Murabba Development Company, where she also heads corporate procurement. She was previously director of procurement and contracts at the Hevolution Foundation, and before that manager of procurement excellence for systems and capabilities at NEOM, where she worked on developing purchasing systems and capability. New Murabba Development Company is owned by the Public Investment Fund and is delivering the New Murabba project north of Riyadh, the largest modern downtown development in the world at close to 19 square kilometres.
