Ben Farrell

Global Chief Executive Officer

Ben Farrell MBE has been global chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply since October 2024. He joined from the John Lewis Partnership, where he was director of operations, planning and delivery. Before moving into business he spent twenty three years in the British Army, commanded the Irish Guards and was appointed MBE at the age of twenty nine for his work in Kosovo. He studied at Cranfield University and the Royal Military College of Science. He leads the body that sets the global standards for the procurement profession and serves around 70,000 members in more than 150 countries.
