Technical Sales Director

Henk obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1992 at the University of Twente, The Netherlands, on the topic of pervaporation. From 1992 to 1994 he worked at the National Institute of Materials and Chemical Research in Tsukuba, Japan, on projects in the field of pervaporation and reverse osmosis for organic solvent systems in collaboration with the University of Tokyo. In 1994 Henk returned to the Netherlands, where he set up and managed the European Membrane Institute Twente. In 2005 he joined Zenon Environmental in Oakville, Canada, as Director R&D. In 2009 he became Technology Leader UF/MBR at GE Water, and in 2017 he became the Global Technology Leader for ES Products at Suez. In 2022 he joined NX Filtration as their Technical Director responsible for product development and manufacturing support, and as of January 2026 his role changed to supporting the commercial team.
