Guillaume Desveaux

Guillaume Desveaux is Chairman and co-founder of AI Cargo Foundation, a French non-profit association created within Hub France IA and funded by the French State to help the transport and logistics sector decarbonise, through a sovereign and neutral artificial intelligence platform and shared digital services for companies, industry sectors and regions. AI Cargo Foundation operates Appel d'aiR, a national public-interest programme that uses AI to accelerate modal shift from road freight to rail and inland waterways. Building on those results, he co-founded pool4ward, which extends the same principles — neutrality, digital sovereignty and collaboration between shippers — to road and multimodal freight: detecting pooling opportunities, massifying volumes and orchestrating optimised transport plans. At Institut Polytechnique de Paris, he directed the AIDA project, the interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics initiative behind Hi! PARIS, the Center on Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence for Science, Business and Society launched jointly with HEC Paris. A computer and telecommunications engineer, he began his career in the digital industry with SFR and Cisco, before founding the innovation consultancy InnOpen and co-founding several technology ventures, including Storit.io and Allonia.com. He works at the intersection of public policy, industry coalitions and applied artificial intelligence.
