Chief Executive Officer

Greg Varisco is Chief Executive Officer of Cinturion, with more than thirty years serving the telecommunications and oil and gas industries, previously in executive management at Aqua Comms. Cinturion is the developer of the Trans Europe Asia System, a fibre project combining terrestrial and undersea routes to link India with the Middle East and Europe across roughly 9,000 kilometres passing through ten countries, with capacity above 300 terabits per second spread over multiple parallel paths. The design includes two separate crossings of the Mediterranean, multiple routes across the Arabian Peninsula, a path through the Gulf of Aqaba and the Red Sea, and terminations in India. The International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, invested in the company in 2023 to support construction and operation of the system.
