Head of Non-Terrestrial Network

He has led non-terrestrial networks at NEOM since joining the project in 2023. Non-terrestrial networks is the term for delivering telecommunications through satellites and high-altitude platforms rather than ground towers, the path the Kingdom is backing to cover vast, thinly populated areas and to connect at sea and in the air; the Communications, Space and Technology Commission runs a dedicated programme and has issued draft regulations for it. Before NEOM he worked at Saudi Aramco as a process control systems technician, then as a flight software engineer at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, part of the team that built the first Saudi geostationary satellite.
