Ghazi Ozair

Senior Technical Advisor

Ghazi Ozair has spent his career in desalination and water treatment, and is currently with BW-Water Americas. After completing his university education at Aligarh Muslim University in India, he joined the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, where he served for 30 years heading research and development. In 2009 he moved to NOMAC as Senior Technical Manager, and from 2012 until August 2021 he worked as an environmental consultant with the Power and Water Utility Company, before joining Tahliyah Desalination and Water Treatment Company as Project Director. He went on to serve as Technical Research Director with Effluent Free Desalination, as Senior Consultant for desalination and water treatment with Brine Consulting in the Netherlands, and as water advisor with Tyrosine Consulting in Canada. He has produced more than 35 research publications and over 80 technical and research project reports, and is named on a United States patent application on brine management, publication number 2022/0324737. His papers have been presented at international conferences or published in peer-reviewed journals.
