Felipe Torres

Associate Professor

Felipe Torres is Associate Professor and leader of the ANU HEAT Lab at The Australian National University, where the group explores technologies based on heat and mass transfer principles. Their research spans energy systems, aerospace applications, and environmental engineering, with publications in journals such as Nature Water, Nature Communications and Energy & Environmental Science. He earned dual PhDs from Tohoku University in Japan and École Centrale de Lyon in France, followed by industry experience as a Research Scientist at Toshiba Corporation, and joined ANU in 2016.
