With over four decades of experience in hydraulic design and pump technology, Eli has advanced energy-efficient solutions for desalination and water purification. In the early 1980s, as Chief R&D Hydraulic Designer at a major pump company, he proposed developing a turbocharger device to boost feed pressure using brine hydraulic energy, laying the foundation for his future innovations. In 1997 he founded FEDCO to develop high-pressure pumps and energy recovery devices. Under his leadership FEDCO introduced the Hydraulic Pressure Booster, the MSS and MSD series of high-pressure feed pumps, the BiTurbo high recovery SWRO systems, and the HEMI motorized turbocharger.
