Binash Imteyaz

Research Scientist

Binash Imteyaz works at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Sustainable Energy Systems at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran. His research interests span energy efficiency, thermal desalination, oxy-fuel combustion, carbon capture, computational fluid dynamics and process simulation. He has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications. At the centre he has been engaged for several years in industrial and building energy assessments and in mentoring and instructing students in energy efficiency and renewable energy, and he has developed short courses and outreach programmes that raise awareness of sustainable energy practices. He is also affiliated with the Aerospace Engineering Department at the university.
