Amr Seoudy has more than 30 years of experience in water treatment systems and water infrastructure facilities, and in 2012 he founded the WTCO consulting and engineering firm. He has participated in and led 323 projects in the field of water treatment systems and infrastructure facilities, and has been active in training and research with 18 training courses. He has taken part in many local and international seminars, conferences and congresses, delivering 30 lectures and 25 papers. He is the founder and organizer of the International Water Consultant Congress, held since 2020, and the founder of the Amr Seoudy Water Treatment Award. He wrote the perspective chapter 'Desalination System Performance Index and Artificial Intelligence' in Advances in Desalination Insights, published on 22 August 2024, and is the author of the book 'Artificial Intelligence and Simulation for Smart Desalination', published in October 2025.
