Pierre Le Manh serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the United States, the world's leading organisation for the project-management profession, serving around 40 million professionals across more than 200 countries. PMI delivers internationally recognised certifications, most notably the Project Management Professional (PMP), alongside lifelong-learning platforms and specialised content. Since taking the helm in 2022, Le Manh has led a broad transformation and strategic expansion of PMI, positioning the organisation at the forefront of efforts addressing the impact of artificial intelligence on project management, in step with rapid shifts in work methods and emerging technologies. Before joining PMI, Le Manh served as Global Deputy CEO and CEO North America of Ipsos, one of the world's largest market-research companies. Earlier in his career, he was CEO of a digital publishing company in France and Global CEO of Consodata, a European pioneer in data-driven marketing. He began his career as a management and technology consultant at Accenture. Le Manh was born and raised in France to a Vietnamese father and a French mother, lived in several countries, and settled in New York City in 2013. He is fluent in English, French, and Italian. He sits on the Advisory Board of the Global Peter Drucker Forum and serves as a French Foreign Trade Advisor to the French government. He is regarded as a leading international voice in advancing project-management practice and preparing the workforce to navigate the shifts of artificial intelligence and hybrid work models.
