Zouhayr Souirti

Professor of Neurology; Head of the Epilepsy Unit and Outpatient Centre, Neurology Department

Professor Zouhayr Souirti is a professor of neurology and head of the Epilepsy Unit and Outpatient Centre in the Department of Neurology at Hassan II University Hospital in Fez, Morocco, and is affiliated with Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University. He also works in the department's Neurology and Sleep Medicine Center. He has given lectures for the International League Against Epilepsy on the regional and global burden of epilepsy and on when not to treat epileptiform abnormalities on EEG, and presented on epilepsy at a 2024 scientific day of the Moroccan Academy of Sciences.
