Ratana Nayeck

Ratana Nayeck is a primary educator and middle leader with more than ten years of teaching experience in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. She has taught in kindergarten and primary, focusing on student independence, engagement and conceptual understanding, and she has held middle leadership roles overseeing Moral, Social and Cultural Studies across several phases, supporting curriculum development, assessment practice and staff professional learning. She is particularly interested in using technology for formative assessment, inclusive classroom strategies and hands-on learning that makes learning meaningful and accessible for all students, and in using data to help teachers support their learners. She has also led after-school enrichment programmes, clubs and STEM activities that connect learning to real life, and she shares practical, classroom-tested strategies with other teachers.
