Adlira Kolcu

Upper Primary Leader

Adlira Kolcu is an educator with more than a decade of teaching experience in international settings, bringing together cultural perspectives from Europe and Asia. She has worked as a mathematics educator and English teacher, and she is an IB PYP Grade 5 homeroom teacher and Upper Primary Leader at One World International School. She is committed to inquiry-based learning, student agency and meaningful learning experiences that nurture internationally minded and reflective learners. Working in an Apple Distinguished School environment, she integrates Apple learning tools to enhance creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and student engagement. Alongside classroom teaching she has contributed to leadership initiatives, curriculum development and collaborative projects in international education, and she regards continuous professional growth and lifelong learning as essential to her practice.
