Osama Muthaffar

Consultant Pediatric Neurologist and Epileptologist, Associate Professor; Treasurer, Executive Board, Saudi Epilepsy Society

Dr. Osama Muthaffar is a consultant pediatric neurologist and epileptologist and an associate professor at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. He earned his medical degree from King Abdulaziz University in 2006, completed his residency at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh between 2009 and 2013, and held a clinical epilepsy fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto from 2014 to 2016. He served as a consultant at King Abdulaziz University from 2016 to 2019 and has since practised in Jeddah. He is a member of the Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society, the Saudi Epilepsy Society, where he is treasurer of the executive board, and the American Epilepsy Society.
