Senior Design Manager

Khalid Al-Azawi is a Senior Design Manager at AECOM, working on NEOM project technical services in Saudi Arabia, where he leads a team of engineers and architects. His responsibilities include reviewing and approving designs, issuing non-objection certificates on design reviews, and running design stage gates and approval procedures across master planning, infrastructure, superstructure, landscape and public realm for NEOM projects including the airport, the outer regions and several islands. He previously served as head of the drainage design section and technical adviser at Qatar's Public Works Authority, where he managed and delivered the Qatar integrated drainage master plan.
