Assistant Principal
Julia Arthur-Godar (MEd, NPQSL) is a senior leader at The Howard Partnership Trust and a Neurosequential Model in Education trainer. She specializes in applying developmental neuroscience and trauma-informed principles to strengthen engagement, wellbeing and inclusion for children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs in specialist and mainstream settings. She leads trust-wide work on regulation-focused practice, sensory profiling and the design of predictable, relationally safe learning environments, and her case study on whole-school implementation of the Neurosequential Model shows how developmental sequencing and regulation-first design can improve attendance, behaviour and academic outcomes for learners with complex needs. She works with leaders and staff teams to embed sustainable, developmentally aligned approaches.
