Foksouna Sakadi

Consultant Neurologist; President, Chadian League Against Epilepsy; Board Member, ILAE Eastern Mediterranean Region

Dr. Foksouna Sakadi is a consultant neurologist from Chad. He is president of the Chadian League Against Epilepsy, whose officers were elected in April 2021, and a board member of the Eastern Mediterranean Region of the International League Against Epilepsy. Recent press coverage also names him president of the Chadian Society of Neurology, which marked World Brain Day in 2025. He trained in neurology at the University of Conakry and Ignace Deen Hospital in Guinea at a time when Chad had very few neurologists. The League he leads runs practical epilepsy training for doctors and medical students every September and free consultations in different Chadian cities every October.
