Alexandra Neagu is a senior otolaryngologist with expertise in audiology at the Marie Skłodowska Curie Emergency Children's Hospital in Bucharest, within the ENT clinic headed by Prof. Dan Cristian Gheorghe. Romanian press reports describe her as part of the team that performed cochlear implantation in an eight-month-old infant with bilateral hearing loss, presented as a national first, and in a one-year-old girl who received the Nucleus Nexa system, reported as the first system of its kind in Romania.
