The 20th edition of the Jeddah International Motor Show 2026 is drawing toward a close on November 7 with organisers expecting attendance to pass the 10,000-visitor mark, according to the Saudi Press Agency, which described the event as the region's leading platform for shaping the future of engines and smart mobility.
Across the exhibition floor, visitors moved through a sequence of stations displaying the latest 2026 models from major global brands alongside logistics firms, lubricant manufacturers and auction houses, with several manufacturers using the show to unveil entirely new cars and to launch models appearing for the first time in the regional market. The organisers said leading companies and dealers from Europe, the Americas and Asia chose the Jeddah event specifically to roll out their strategic models.
Electric vehicles, smart solutions and advanced technologies took centre stage this year, with the show bringing together internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, fully electric cars and extended-range electric vehicles under one roof for the first time in the Middle East. The arrangement allows the public to move from viewing to direct engagement through closed tracks set aside for test drives and performance assessment, alongside virtual simulation and interactive digital reality zones aimed at families and young visitors.
The event has also widened its scope beyond conventional vehicles, with clean-energy transport and sustainable mobility tracks aligned to global environmental directions and to Saudi Vision 2030 targets, including efforts to localise electric vehicle manufacturing. In parallel, the show is hosting an international innovation challenge and an automotive hackathon that brings together 100 innovators, entrepreneurs and startup founders working across 36 continuous hours to develop technology solutions.
A parallel programme of specialised sessions covers artificial intelligence, smart and electric mobility, sustainability, digital customer experience and the future of business and innovation, reinforcing the exhibition's position as a knowledge, economic and investment destination. «The show has become a developmental platform rather than a display floor,» the organisers said in remarks carried by the agency, pointing to workshops and scientific programmes that link technology to the future of the automotive sector.
