The twentieth edition of the Jeddah International Motor Show 2026 drew to a close at the Jeddah Center for Exhibitions and Events, capping several days of activity that brought together automotive companies and businesses from the wider mobility sector, with investment prospects in electric-vehicle manufacturing and sustainable transport solutions taking centre stage, according to the Saudi Press Agency (WASA).
A central outcome of the closing day was the signing of strategic agreements linking local agents with international manufacturers, aimed at strengthening supply-chain efficiency and widening the networks of alternative-energy vehicles and their charging systems, while insurance firms, digital financing platforms and fintech players used the show to present tailored funding solutions and insurance programmes for smart vehicles.
Spare-parts companies also outlined plans to supply components for the latest and electric models at competitive prices, alongside flexible maintenance options, and visitors were given the chance to test-drive new vehicles on dedicated tracks, with virtual-simulation zones set up to explore safety systems and driver-assistance technologies.
The show hosted the International Innovation Challenge and Automotive Hackathon, which ran for 36 hours and saw entrepreneurs develop artificial-intelligence software for fleet management and predictive maintenance, while a talk programme addressed clean-transport investment and the digital customer experience.
