Zoraib is a young author and advocate for education reform. He wrote his first book at the age of eight and published it at nine. The book, Curious Giraffe, describes the frustrations students face in today’s education system, especially the pressure of standardized testing; it became a bestseller within 24 hours and received endorsements including from a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. He has received several international awards for youth advocacy, creativity and educational reform, and he took part in the International Symposium for Innovation in Education, sharing perspectives on how schools can better support young learners. He speaks for an education system that values diverse intelligences, emotional wellbeing and human-centred learning.
