Yahya F. Jamous is a Senior Expert Researcher at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), where he is also described as an associate research professor. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Molecular Pharmacology) from ETH Zurich and a master's degree in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from King Saud University. His research covers nanotechnology-based drug delivery, antimicrobial resistance, vaccine development, molecular pharmacology and precision medicine, with an emphasis on the mechanisms and genetic basis of disease and on developing therapies through biotechnology. He is Vice Chairperson of the National Research and Ethics Committee at Novo Genomics, and serves as a research topic editor at Frontiers in Medicine and as an editorial review board member of the Journal of Public Health Research.
