Aliah Mohammed Abuammah Alharbi, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Research Scientist in Cardiovascular Sciences at King Saud University. She holds a PhD from Imperial College London in Medicine and Bioengineering and is a Saudi biomedical innovator. She holds 12 national and international patents covering medical imaging, functional genomics and gene delivery technologies. She is the inventor of IntraSight, a real-time coronary blood flow imaging system used during open-heart surgery, and the creator of the GeneLight and NanoThru platforms for high-throughput gene editing and drug discovery.
