Quality Control Senior Manager

Fadi Alhawash is a quality and operations management professional with over 22 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, implementing ISO and Lean methodologies, and optimizing production systems. He has a record of improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and driving organizational excellence across manufacturing and service sectors. Since November 2012 he has served as Operating System and Quality Control Senior Manager at the Saudi Arabian Japanese Pharmaceutical Company. He directs the Quality Control team for the production of all dosage forms in compliance with cGMP, FDA, EMA, and ICH regulations, and oversees the sampling, testing, and release of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods (tablets, capsules, and powders) in line with pharmacopeial standards (USP and EP). He has led the development and implementation of quality management systems, facilitated cross-functional teams in identifying quality improvement opportunities, conducted audits and inspections with corrective actions, and mentored staff on quality assurance protocols. He has collaborated with R&D to set quality benchmarks for new products, established documentation practices supporting regulatory submissions and audits, managed budgets, and evaluated vendor offerings to select suitable partners. He holds a postgraduate qualification in Operations Management from Fanshawe College in London, Canada (2025), and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan (2001).
