Director General

Director General of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission since 2013, with strong interests in supervisory technology, digital finance and green finance. Before becoming a financial regulator he worked in the UK Cabinet Office helping write a report on regulatory simplification, previously served as Head of Risk at the Central Bank of Ireland where he led development of its PRISM supervisory methodology, and worked at the UK Financial Services Authority, joining shortly before the financial crisis and leading teams supervising credit institutions, insurers and investment firms through it.
